The general manager develops Monadnock Music’s public image by representing the organization in the local community and creating relationships with community and arts leaders. He or she ensures the organization’s financial health and continued community relationships through donor stewardship and donor recruitment, generates monthly financial reports and manages the cash flow. Through oversight of the bookkeeping, grant writing, marketing and seasonal hiring processes he or she supports the summer festival and educational programming.
The office assistant works with the General Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the Monadnock Music office. He or she keeps the books, manages payroll, stewards donors and assists in the audit and grant writing and reporting processes. He or she supports the annual summer festival and Lend an Ear! program through event marketing and contracting of local schools.
